MUS Owls 14, Ensworth Tigers 31

COOKEVILLE (WATE) - Ensworth defeated Memphis University School 31-14 to win its third straight TSSAA Division II-AA championship.

Senior running back Corn Elder rushed for three touchdowns and 217 yards to power Ensworth's offense. He was named the game's offensive MVP.

Ensworth quarterback Andrew Bowers threw for 152 yards on 8 of 11 passing.

Memphis University School senior safety Matt Bolton was named the defensive MVP. He had 13 tackles and recovered a fumble.

Ensworth led by just a field goal at halftime, but shut out Memphis University School the rest of the way.
